⇢ Delivering COVID-compliant photography solutions to resilient creatives, producers, creative directors, marketers, and art directors working through the complications of coronavirus and the “new normal” ⇠

I help creatives, producers, marketers, art directors, and photographic agents deliver spectacularly on their briefs and smash their client’s campaign targets by providing expert and agile end-to-end platform-specific stills photography and production services.

I take the stress and headache out of photographic production by consistently delivering irresistibly beautiful and effective imagery under minimal supervision with creative flair, big-picture insights, and years of experience across multiple verticals.

Specialties include fashion photography, lifestyle photography, portrait photography, e-commerce photography, and still life photography for advertising, digital, social, and editorial.

Matthew Johnson

A photographer based in London, specialising in portraiture, reportage and classical music.

From internationally renowned musicians, festivals, live performances and concerts, cyclists, and surfers. My work covers a diverse range of subjects both in commissioned work to personal projects. By documenting the arts, performance, athletes, and the great outdoors, my work explores themes of community, wellbeing, and the arts.

I have photographed for album covers, record labels, musicians, ensembles, live music, and classical festivals. I have also worked with arts organisations, brands, athletes, design studios, and assisted on shoots with Olivia Colman, Gary Oldman, and Ferdinand Kingsley.

My book, ‘Cyclists of London’, was self-published in summer 2020 post-lockdown and is a photographic journal, documenting some of the city’s many cyclists. In January 2021, I self-published a limited edition zine, Saltburn Surfers.

Pim van Baalen

Hello, I'm Pim.

I work as a technical production planner, Gaffer/Light technician, and digital operator.

After working in the industry for over 7 years in various roles, I started a technical production company named Pim Productions. I take care of the whole technical side of your production, so photographers and DOP's can focus on the creative side of the job, in both preparation and on set.

I can help you out with; light design, making equipment lists, liaising with equipment rentals, gathering the right technical team for the job, and giving you a hand on set.

Photographers and DOP's enjoy working with me as it allows them to focus on what they do best: making images.

I'm based in London but working worldwide.

If there is anything I can help you with, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Shiv Kanagaratnam

**April 2022 - Paternity break until end May 2022**

Hi there. I'm Shiv, a digital operator and lighting assistant based in London. I've been working within the photography industry since 2008 when I started out at Spring Studios.

Having worked as a digital operator for over 10 years I have extensive experience with Capture One, Phocus, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge. I frequently work with Hasselblad, Phase One, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm and Contax cameras.

I often supply and use my own MacBook Pros, Eizo screens, work stations and cabling on Advertising shoots to provide multiple viewing points to aid social distancing and client comfort. This can be wireless or wired and I can tailor the package to your budget and location.

Although I no longer actively retouch, I have in the past retouched campaigns for Ikea and Subway as well as portraits of celebrities and various editorials. On-set comping and rough retouching to show clients quick mock-ups isn’t a problem.

I have experience creating lighting plans from references with flash or continuous lighting using Profoto, Elinchrom, Briese, Broncolor, Strobe, Tungsten, HMI, Kinoflo and LED panels in the studio or on location using generators.
