This month we are hosting a Spotlight Focus of exceptional image making from our f22 members with the theme of 'Self-portrait'
With the last year's lockdown guidelines impacting on our lives and places of work, there are limited opportunities for working with others, and we find we are spending a lot of time with ourselves. These challenges and restrictions have created amongst other things a time for reflection and contemplation, it is interesting what it is we see when we turn our gaze and our camera around.
Our exhibition is curated by Jaki Jo Hannan from adam&eveDDB
In 2019, she launched ‘Equal Lens’, an initiative to create new and equal opportunities for women and non-binary photographers in advertising. Her work in making our industry more diverse and inclusive was recognised in the 2020 IPA iList in collaboration with Unilever and Campaign Magazine. This list is a celebration of industry role models who are driving this change. The iList is a recognition of those who are truly promoting and championing inclusivity within the advertising industry.
