A representative of Williamson Carson, a long time affiliated company and friend of the AOP, will be delivering a free workshop on  the Lifecycle of Financial Planning for the Photographer at the AOP on 11 June from 3–5pm and will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding financial planning for photographers.

Most photographers appreciate the need to insure their equipment. After all, you cannot work without a camera. But what if you were unable to work because of sickness or disability – how would you cope with the loss of earnings? No one can prevent the unexpected but fortunately insurance policies such as income protection and critical illness cover are available to ensure you have financial security. Photographers early in their careers are particularly vulnerable and the need for life assurance and pension plans increases over time. Tailored policies that offer peace of mind are available for all circumstances and budgets.
