Professional since 1978,member of Association of Photographer since 1984. Won Gold Award in AoP 1988 Awards in Landscape category(one of only five awarded Gold out of sixteen categories), and the PAMADA Award for aerial photography 2003. Depending on the commission subject, uses helicopters, aircraft, and drones partnered with licensed operator. Travels extensively on commission for annual reports, progress reports and the corporate field with specialist work in aerial, architectural and landscape photography. Niche photographic activities include hot-air ballooning(often used for aerial photography) and a 40 year Archive of Jazz, Blues and popular music pictures(the JAZZ&BLUES ARCHIVE) illustrating in-flight magazines and specialist publications. Recent aerial work for City of London developers and a feature - ’London from the air’- published in Time Out magazine March 2007. Aerial and architectural commissions continue,and I maintain a large stock of images related to the above categories, and submit high quality digital work to clients and stock libraries.
