Sophie Ebrard is a photographer and filmmaker based in Amsterdam and London. Her clients include Rolex, Heineken, HSBC, Samsung, Stella Artois, Timberland, Volkswagen & Google. As a filmmaker she has created high-profile work for Volkswagen (‘My Perfect Volkswagen’ 2015) and Poulain (2017). These projects have ranged from intimate small-crew shoots to large-scale productions involving crews of over 80 people.
She has also won acclaim in the world of art photography; exhibiting at the National Portrait Gallery as part of the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, 2015, and winning the Association of Photographers Award in 2016 with her series ‘Dunk Elite’. Her infamous ‘It’s Just Love’ collection exhibited in Amsterdam and Kyoto, making headlines internationally in Vanity Fair, Time Magazine, Marie Claire, the Guardian, the Huffington Post and Dazed & Confused.
Sophie has a diverse portfolio tied together by a distinctive approach and aesthetic. Whether a project is large or small, creative or commercial, she brings the same instinct for artful and spontaneous composition, as well as a collaborative attitude, adventurous spirit and irreverent sense of humour.
