Photographer Overview

I produce images that tells stories and evoke mood with emotion. I mainly produce portraits, whether environmental or getting more close in, focusing on details that help to illuminate the subject. My work is all about people and what makes them who they are. As an Asian woman I love to explore diversity.

I have a background in PR and journalism for charities and have done a lot of shoots for charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Crisis, Campaign for Better Transport and Hestia the women's refuge charity. This has involved working sensitively in a way that empowers people who might be feeling vulnerable due to their circumstances.

I'm very skilled at putting people at their ease and love to get to know people from different backgrounds. I like to see my work as a collaboration where I help to see the world through the eyes of the person I am photographing.
