Photographer Overview
Ray Cox has been a full-time, professional photographer since 2001, specialising in the gardens and plants of Scotland. He is a member of the Cox family of horticultural experts and authors who have run their world-famous business and garden at Glendoick in Perthshire, Scotland, for three generations.
Experience
Ray’s work is regularly published in a wide range of media including national newspapers and magazines, websites, books, calendars etc.
He maintains regular contact with the leading organisations and most influential people in Scottish gardening including the top gardeners and designers. He is also a member of the Professional Garden Photographer's Association.

The Ray Cox Photography library contains a large number of images including probably the most comprehensive collection available of Scottish Gardens, both open to the public and private.
Some of Ray's work is also represented by GAP, the specialist photo library.
Ray is happy to undertake commissions. Rates are negotiable and depend on the particular project.
Book Service
If you'd like a book on your garden, outdoor space etc we can create and supply anything from a small guide-book - or a beautiful photo-only coffee table book - to a lavishly produced pictures-and-words book to celebrate and showcase your work, creativity and achievement for current and future generations to enjoy.
Lectures and Workshops
We offer lectures and workshops on the subjects of garden, plant and outdoor photography (topic emphasis can be tailored to suit a particular audience).
Workshops over 1 or 2 days. 8 participants required per course.
