Gemma is a portrait, boudoir and lifestyle advertising photographer based in Salisbury but working throughout South of England and abroad, especially if it's somewhere hot and sunny. Or up a mountain.Children form the backbone of her experience and passion, but adults can be equally fun too and she’s a specialist at igniting a connection with her subjects, working hard to craft a narrative to her imagery that resonates deeply with the audience (and to brief!) whether that is infusing humour and energy or a quiet serenity and beauty.
Since 2010 her work has covered a broad spectrum, from downhill ski racing, to super yachts, breast cancer portraiture, personal charity projects as well as the work you see here.
During Covid in 2020, she undertook a charity portrait project entitled Children of Salisbury - Life After Lockdown documenting the profound effects of the pandemic on the lives of Salisbury's children. In 2025, to mark the 5 year anniversary and some of those children reaching adulthood, she intends to do a follow-up project to understand how those experiences have influenced the children since. She hopes to exhibit both bodies of work as an insight into a significant time of social history.
