Member description

I’m a Fine Art and Conceptual Photographer and a queer, non-binary and disabled artist my work is inherently political.

I’m interested in exploring ideas that challenge societal norms and I see my work as a form of art activism to highlight social injustice and make people more aware of the issues many marginalised people face.

As an artist I want to draw the audience in, make them question and think more deeply about our collective humanity and think about ideas around gender, race, disability, mental health and consider how these things intersect with larger social issues such as the climate crisis.

My work has been exhibited across the UK, Europe and Internationally and is held in private collections. My work will be exhibited as part of the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery (9 Nov '23 - 25 Feb '24).

I have won a number of awards including;

BJP Portrait of Britain Award 2023
AOP Emerging Talent Award 2023 (Highly Commended)
AOP Student Awards 2022 (Silver Winner)
BarTur Photo Award 2022 (Third Place Winner)
AOP Open Awards, Series Winner 2017
