Member description

Alan is a Sussex-based automotive photographer and video content producer working in the retail sector and with online classic car auction houses. His photography encompasses both the classic, new and used car sector; where he particularly enjoy working on bespoke new car launch packages for retail clients. Having Goodwood nearby, he is lucky that his work also includes capturing events such as Members Meetings and Revival.

His career has included senior roles within the automotive retail sector and in the 1990s he set up one of the first digital online automotive retail platforms. This experience enables him to offer a unique perspective to his clients, he has now been photographing cars in a professional context for over twenty-five years. He learned the fundamentals of photography in his home-dark room as a teenager, and throughout his career has been an early adopter of new technology. His clients love that he brings with him creative ideas, industry know-how and an eye for detail.
