In this series of online exhibitions we are handing the creative control over to our AOP Agent members. Each fortnight a different leading photographic agent will curate an exhibition within their chosen title and theme from work included in our member Find A Photographer area of the AOP website.
This fortnight Katy Niker has chosen a great selection of both commissioned and personal work from our photographer members under the theme 'Aerial'.
Katy had this to say about her selection process:
"Initially I just went through the photographers work that came up when I selected the specialism Aerial, as I have always loved images from an elevated perspective of our amazing and complicated world.
I just chose images I was instantly drawn too, but what I really loved was seeing the diversity of the images when I looked at them altogether. With Aerial photography I feel it is easy for a photographer to simply rely on the landscape below, but what I really like about this collection of images is how, to varying degrees, the photographer has influenced the image and what they wanted the viewer to see and appreciate."
