At Photo UCLan we offer you the opportunity to develop your photographic expertise and gain the necessary knowledge to prepare for a variety of pathways after graduation. We offer a structured course that enables you to develop your practice in a rich and supportive environment, working alongside a range of experienced staff and industry professionals, who will help you realise your potential.
During your time at Photo UCLan, you will explore a range of key themes such as Narrative, The Everyday, Independent and Professional Practice. Each theme will encourage you to find your own vision where you can blend and borrow from past masters to become future innovators in fields such as fashion, documentary, and fine art.
Teaching takes place across our seminar rooms, project space and photography studios. You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment, industry-standard studio environments, and professionally calibrated scanning suite, all with 24-hour student access. We have excellent darkroom facilities with access to professional colour, black & white, and alternative process and print facilities.
