London Art Fair opens today

The London Art Fair opened today and runs until Sunday 20 January. Photo50 is its annual showcase of contemporary photography and this year A Cyclical Poem curated by Nick Hackworth questions the nature of historical change.
On display are 50 images by eight photojournalists and documentary photographers working from 1970 to date including: Ian Beesley, Dorothy Bohm, Brian Griffin, Paul Hill, Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen, Marketa Luskacova and Chris Steele-Perkins and Homer Sykes. Alongside Photo50 a number of galleries at London Art Fair will be exhibiting work by contemporary photographers. A Photography Focus day at the Fair today, Wednesday 16 January, includes talks by Photovoice and Photoworks, as well as a discussion on African photography.
