Mark Mawson

Photographer Overview

Mark is a London based advertising photographer and director with 30 years experience of producing beautiful, creative and inspiring pictures. His work is used by major brands and advertising agencies.

He has had a camera in his hands since he was a young boy.

Mark specialises in shooting liquids, drinks, still-life, special effects and underwater. He is the original creator of the iconic “Aqueous” series which has become very well known and highly collectable and set a trend for liquid imagery. He is an expert in shooting splashes and pours, using high speed photography to capture moments not seen by the naked eye.

In 2018, Mark was presented the Futurum Award by His Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco for his significant contribution to art.

He created an Aqueous video which was projected onto Buckingham Palace for The Queen’s diamond jubilee celebrations and has also produced videos used on giant screens for U2’s eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE tour and Shawn Mendes live performances.
