Photographer Overview

I never know what to write in these boxes. I should do something about how many awards I've won and how much kit I have. Well, yes, I've won a few awards over the years (most recently Best In Category at the 2013 AOP Awards) and I have a fair amount of kit, box ticked!

I guess the most important thing to me is the idea. If the idea is great, the image will be. Idea is king. My personal work literally is personal work, things I see, things I find. The things I shoot nearly always find me, if I go looking for a shot it rarely happens.

The commissions, well I always have a slight problem (only slight) taking credit for someone else's idea, which the commissions nearly always are. I'm lucky to have worked with some of the best art directors out there, the real genius is facing the blank sheet of paper and cracking a brief, brilliantly. I'm proud to have shot some lovely ad's over the years, and I look forward to cracking more in the future.
