Photographer Overview

I come from a fairly arty family, lots of painters, crafters & makers, and I too have always been drawn to creative arts. Like many people my early career started in industry, but it was not that fulfilling so I decided to follow my passion and give up a well paid London job to train at London College of Printing (University of Arts of London). I haven't looked back and feel fortunate to be able to follow my passion full time.

I love to photograph people and food, but anything can inspire me; beautiful flowers, an ingredient that I am buying to cook a meal or the landscape around me whilst out cycling. I also do a bit of screen printing and etching and this often fires my imagination. I take great joy in photographing people; bringing out their personality, humour and spirit in my pictures. It's also been said that I have a knack for making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Perhaps that’s a genuine affinity with my clients coupled with a desire to make them look their very best. Whatever the reason, I'm never happier than when I'm behind the camera.

Won the AOP Assistant Award in 2015 for my image of a view from the Shard.
