I trained in graphic communication and I have worked as a freelancer in a creative industry both as a photographer and a graphic designer for number of years. I also have experience working in Higher Education. Up until this year, I held the post of senior lecturer on the Bournemouth University BA(Hons) Photography course, based at Wiltshire College (formerly Salisbury College) for 16 years, and I have worked with other universities as a specialist visiting lecturer.
However, as from this September (academic year 2020/21) I made the decision, to take a break from lecturing to concentrate on developing my own creative work.
Although I can work on location, I also have the benefit of my own studio where I can work freely on small still life projects, miniature set builds, post-production work, food shoots, graphics and even moving image. As a visual communicator I'm very versatile. I do all my own post-production, and I am fully up-to-date with Adobe CC, and I'm a skilled photo retoucher.
This year I am proud to have been shortlisted for the very prestigious Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year, with over 80,000 entries from 92 countries two of my images were selected.
Available for freelance work in-between doing my own creative projects!
