Photographer Overview
I'm an Irish photographer based in Dublin and Paris and my work is concerned with how we inhabit. My background as an architect is central to my practice, which investigates the overlap between architecture and photography in how we construct meaning. I’m particularly interested in the ideological aspect of inhabitation and the role of both architecture and photography in constructing the ideal.
Since graduating with distinction in 2015 from the MFA photography programme at the University of Ulster, my work has been exhibited internationally. I have been the recipient of numerous awards, most recently the Arts Council of Ireland Next Generation Award, the TBG+S Studio Award, and the BX/Seen Fifteen Exhibition Award and the Institute Français Cite Internationale des Arts residency. I’ve also been selected for PhotoIreland New Irish Works and nominated for the Prix Pictet 2019.
