Photographer Overview
Sam Bénard is a London based photographer specialising in sports and environmental portraiture. His style is easily recognisable by its considered stylised look and clean composition.
His personal projects are heavily based around local people and their cultures. Speaking English, French and Spanish, his languages allow him to communicate with his subject on a much more personal level bringing him closer to them and opening doors to new and unique experiences. Communication and observations are key and define his work and style as a photographer.
Recent clients include the likes of Adidas, Under Armour, Land Rover and Visa. Sam was a winner and finalist in the Production Paradise Spotlight awards in 2018 and 2019 respectively. He also appeared as a finalist in the AOP Awards 2019 in two categories as well as the One Eyeland fine art awards. Most recently featuring in the Luerzer Archive 200 best Ad Photographers 2019/20.
