Assistant Overview

Hello there.

I am Ryan Mero, a freelance photography assistant based in Brighton.

Studying computer animation and SFX at University, I learned a lot about shot composition, photography, lighting and video.

I work out of a Brighton studio where I have learnt about the technical side of photography, from setting up lighting and backdrops to capturing. I have also worked with a number of Brighton based photographers on studio and location shoots.

I have experience with Canon and Sony cameras and have also used medium format cameras. I have experience with Profoto, Elinchrom and Arri lighting. I frequently use CaptureOne when processing and capturing images. I retouch images in Photoshop and edit projects on Davinci Resolve.

I am also a nice guy and am very easy to get on with. I hope that you will keep me in mind if you find yourself in need of an assistant.
