Entries for the AOP Student Awards 2009 were of an excellent standard and it proved to be a hard job for the judges who had to choose from almost 3500 images. There is no set brief in these awards therefore offering students of photography the opportunity to push themselves creatively, as well as technically.

After much deliberation, the judges agreed on one overall winner and awarded two Merits. With a total of 90 images in the exhibition, it will be a diverse and eclectic showcase of student work.
